Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Effective
- July 22, 2026
- Applies to
- frictionwerks.com and FrictionWerks services
This policy explains the three-month commitment, when charges become non-refundable, and how billing problems are corrected.
1. Founding 90-Day Program
The Founding 90-Day Program is a fixed three-month professional services engagement. The website price is a $250 setup fee plus three monthly service installments of $149 each, before any applicable tax. Checkout charges $399 initially—the setup fee and first monthly installment—then charges two further monthly installments. The published offer ends after the third monthly installment and does not renew automatically.
2. Before onboarding work begins
If you ask to cancel before FrictionWerks begins onboarding or other engagement work, FrictionWerks will refund the setup fee and any prepaid service fees for work that has not begun. Contact support@frictionwerks.compromptly so the request can be matched to your checkout.
3. After work begins
The setup fee becomes non-refundable when onboarding or engagement work begins. Each monthly installment becomes non-refundable when its corresponding service month begins. Because this is a fixed three-month engagement, a customer-initiated cancellation after work begins does not remove installments remaining in the committed term, unless a signed agreement says otherwise or applicable law requires it.
You may send cancellation instructions at any time. They will prevent any continuation beyond the committed term; the published program already ends after month three without automatic renewal.
4. If FrictionWerks cannot continue
If FrictionWerks cancels an engagement for reasons other than your breach, unlawful activity, or failure to provide reasonably necessary access or cooperation, FrictionWerks will refund prepaid fees reasonably attributable to material work that will not be delivered. Work already performed and service periods already begun remain payable.
5. Duplicate or incorrect charges
If you believe a charge was duplicated, unauthorized, or inconsistent with the agreed schedule, email support@frictionwerks.com. Include the organization name, charge date, and amount, but do not send a full card number. FrictionWerks will review the Stripe record and correct a verified billing error.
6. Written agreements and legal rights
A signed proposal, statement of work, or other written agreement may contain different cancellation or refund terms. That agreement controls for the affected engagement. Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.
